Transizione energetica: sfide ed opportunità. Rafforzare la cooperazione nel Mediterraneo
Despite a large unexpressed renewable potential, in the last few years Algeria has taken its first steps towards the energy transition, witnessed by the recent adoption of a plan for the construction of 2GW of renewable generation by 2020. In this evolving context, an enhanced cooperation with Italy could play a crucial role, encompassing the simple installation of solar or wind capacity unto other key factors for the transition, including regulation, access to credit and innovation.
The event aims at analyzing and identifying needs and priorities to promote the country's economic and innovation features, in order to exploit at best the competencies developed by Italy in the sector that can ultimately support the transition path of the Algerian framework.
