The hosting model for which Calò won the European Citizen’s prize by welcoming six asylum seekers in his home will serve as a basis for a discussion on the importance of the reception and integration of migrants and refugees, and the key role that civil society and individuals can take up in this regard at the local, national and European level.

The initiative is a side event to the IAI course on migration management that will take place from the 10th to 14th September in Rome.
