Internet, libertà di espressione e democrazia in Europa
The Internet has provided an unprecedented volume of resources for information and knowledge that opens up new opportunities for expression and citizens’ participation, benefiting democracies at large. Legal and regulatory trends, especially if implemented by private companies and not by elected governments, might be constraining online freedom of expression. Within this framework, the event aims to analyse online freedom of expression and democracy in Italy, the European Union and the Western Balkans.
