EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Conference 2020

On 12 - 13 November 2020 IAI, on behalf of the EUNPD Consortium, organized the annual EU Non-proliferation and Disarmament Conference. The Conference, which was opened by High Representative Josep Borrell, is one of the main international events dedicated to arms control, non-proliferation, and disarmament. The debate, which was attended by more than 450 experts and representatives from governments and international organizations, addressed a broad spectrum of issues, including the future of the nuclear non-proliferation regime, emerging technological challenges and the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the disarmament process.
