The International Spectator is signing a Joint Statement launched by other leading journals in our field.
Together with many leading journals in the field of International Relations, we are committed to work for intellectual rigour, originality and scholarly quality in the research we publish. We value human intellectual labour over artificial intelligence in what we accept for publication. While we recognise that AI can be a great tool for researchers if used responsibly, it does not replace the qualities and originality of the human mind and scholarship in our field. We stand together in our support for IA over AI (Intellectual Authorship over Artificial Intelligence).
