SAGA - Satellite Advanced Global Architecture for Security

The main objective of the project is to identify potential innovative solutions for the realization of a global satellite architecture providing communication services that respond to the technical and operational exigencies expressed by public safety & security end-users. The involvement of operational end-users is a key aspect in order to identify those gaps – in terms of infrastructure, technology and governance – that currently limit the efficient use of SATCOM capabilities, either fixed or mobile, in operational contexts.
