Egypt: Authoritarianism and Repression

IAI research examines the causes and implications of youth exclusion from Egypt’s public and political spheres. Published in the framework of the IAI-led Power2Youth project [2], the paper critically assesses Egypt’s political and socio-economic policies from Mubarak to al-Sisi. A second IAI paper analyses the consolidation of authoritarianism in Egypt under al-Sisi’s rule.
