Responsive European Architecture for Space - REACTS

2024 - current

The initiative aims to provide European member states with a study and design of a new collaborative defence capability: an interoperable, resilient and scalable network of responsive space systems (RSS), capable of launching satellites and initiating data delivery within 72 hours.
The project (January 2024-September 2025) aims to define a holistic architecture based on end-user needs, develop a concept of operations (ConOps), create a roadmap for each technical and governance segment of the RSS network of systems, provide an analysis and description of RSS interface standards, design a software-based configuration and simulate the achievable responsiveness.
IAI participates to the project as subcontractor.
