Molto Agitato: Italy, Mediterranean security and European defence

In 2019, the IAI has collaborated with Friends of Europe in drawing up a report on Italian foreign and defence policy, with a focus on the Mediterranean dimension, NATO, and European defence. The IAI worked with the author of the report, Paul Taylor, by organising meetings in Italy with the participation of political, institutional and private sector representatives. The IAI then set up a workshop at the Institute too. The report was published in Italian [2] and English [3], and it has been presented at two public events in Brussels [4] and in the IAI headquarters. The report was followed by a IAI commentary [5] and an interview for AffarInternazionali [6], as well as by an Op-Ed on Politico [7].
