Changing times, enduring values: Charting coherent foreign policy in a fast moving world

On 22 March 2018, the Australian Embassy in Italy and IAI co-hosted a discussion on ‘foreign policy in a fast-moving world’ at the Australian ambassador’s residence in Rome. Stefano Polli, deputy director of ANSA, moderated the discussion between Greg French, Australian ambassador to Italy, and Nathalie Tocci, IAI director. The discussion developed over the different approaches to foreign policy to address challenges related to China's growing influence in the Asia-Pacific as well as the lingering potential for coordinated response to global issues such as climate change.
