Framing the Mediterranean: IAI Research

The IAI-led MEDRESET project [2], funded by the European Union, has published a number of in depth studies addressing European policies in the Mediterranean between 1970 and 2017. Published as three research papers, the analyses provide insight into the changing relationship, discourse and depiction of Mediterranean developments as seen from Europe. Produced in the framework of the MEDRESET project, the papers represent a further step towards problematising past Europeanpolicies in the Mediterranean while moving away from Eurocentric approaches that have defined Europe's engagement over the last decades.
