EU Migrant Policy: Beyond the EU-Turkey Deal

IAI research has produced a number of studies that critically address Europe’s migrant and refugee policy. Beginning from an analysis of the EU-Turkey deal and its impact on EU-Turkey relations, other papers address recent European efforts aimed at establishing new agreements with third countries in Africa. In discussing the EU’s approach to externalizing migration flows, a report from a recent New-Med conference in Athens [2] examines various dimensions of the so-called ‘migrant and refugee crisis’ in the Mediterranean.
