Green New Deal per una transizione equa e giusta

The event - organised in cooperation with WWF Italy - aims at debating the path to accomplish a fair and just ecological transition together with the main representatives from institutions, civil society, industrial and trade unions. Without an adequate attention to the socio-economic effects of the ongoing transformations, managing the transition to a net-zero economy in a socially sustainable way and within the timeframe set by the Paris Agreement will prove extremely difficult. The discussion will focus on the several social dimensions of the transition - ranging from the industry to the job market, touching upon the issues of intergenerational equity and the protection of the most vulnerable - ultimately outlining guidelines on what policies Italy should pursue to manage the transition in a fair and just way.
