Brexit deadlock

Theresa May has written to the European Union seeking a brief delay to Brexit until 30 June. The decision came after the House of Commons had taken all workable options off the table last week, voting down both the withdrawal agreement negotiated with the EU and the option of a no-deal exit. However, “voting against a no-deal Brexit does not prevent it from happening”, EU Chief negotiator Michel Barnier echoed.
