Of drones and drivers

Military imperatives have provided a driving impetus in the protracted race to develop autonomous machines. The fusion of robotics, GPS, and information technology has led to an age of drones and the removal of soldiers from the battlefield, with ramifications still difficult to gauge. Questions remain regarding how to manage and regulate new technologies with military applications, wich are increasingly widespread.
