Biography
Gabriele Abbondanza (PhD, USyd) is Associate Fellow at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), where he works on research projects on Italian foreign policy, Australian foreign policy, and Australian relations with Italy and the EU. Gabriele is a Sessional Lecturer and Visiting Fellow at the University of Sydney, where he teaches international relations, and Vice President of the Dante Alighieri Society Sydney. He has authored a number of publications on Italian and Australian foreign and security policy, national power, “awkward powers”, and international relations theory.
