Biography

Francesco Iacoella is a researcher within IAI “Energy, climate and resources” and “EU, politics and institutions” programmes. The objective of his research is to analyse the nexus between climate, migration and conflict. His work as a United Nations University consultant allowed him to accumulate experience on the topics of forced displacement and conflict, and their impact. Francesco obtained his MA in International Relations at Roma Tre University and his MPP at United Nations University - Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT). He is currently completing his PhD dissertation on the role of communication technology on reproductive healthcare access in Africa.
