Giulia Sofia Sarno

Biography

Giulia Sofia Sarno was a Junior Researcher at IAI working in the Energy, Climate and Resources programme. She specialises in sustainable development, climate change and energy transition. Formerly, Giulia was project assistant at GIZ working on urban energy transition in Sub-Saharan Africa and intern at the Brussels-based EUROCITIES focusing on urban climate and energy planning of European cities through the Covenant of Mayors initiative. Giulia holds a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) in Political Science and International Relations with specialisation in International Development from the Catholic University of Milan, and a Master of Arts in International Development with specialisation in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po - Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA).
