G20 and Sustainable Investment

The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated many trends already underway in the global economy. This reorientation of global and collective priorities means to identify and pursue new long-term choices, from sustainable finance for a green recovery to resilience against systemic risks.

The IAI will hold "Sustainable Investment for a Post-Covid World: the role of the G20" on 31 May, 2021 from 4pm to 5.30pm. The aim of this webinar is to shape a dialogue focused on how public and private institutions can support a long-term shift to build a green and just recovery and on how the Italian Presidency of the G20 can support this effort. In the framework of a green and just recovery, this webinar will focus on how to foster inclusive and sustainable development. Among the participants, Ferdinando Nelli Feroci (President, Istituto Affari Internazionali), Gabriele Galateri di Genola (Chairman, Assicurazioni Generali) and Debora Revoltella (Chief Economist, European Investment Bank). The event will be moderated by Silvia Pavoni (Editor of Sustainable Views and economics editor of The Banker, Financial Times).
