How to reach the IAI with the public transportation

IAI is 2 minutes walking from Piazza del Popolo and can be easily reached via public transportation (underground or bus). The best and the cheapest way is by underground. Taxis get stuck in traffic, which is very busy most of the time.
IAI is 5 minutes walking from "Flaminio" red underground stop.

How to reach the IAI from the railway stations

The most important railway station "Termini" is on the red line, underground A.
Railway stations "Ostiense" and "Tiburtina" are on the blue line, underground B.
You have to take underground blue line from "Piramide" / from "Tiburtina" to "Termini" and then red line from "Termini" to "Flaminio".

How to reach the IAI from the international and national airports

Fiumicino airport "Leonardo da Vinci" is connected to Rome by train or by taxi. Ciampino airport is connected to Rome by bus or by taxi. There are taxi stops in front of all the terminals. The trip to the centre won't take you more than 45-60 min, depending on the traffic.
Fixed rates from and to the airport: 30 euro (Ciampino) / 40 euro (Fiumicino).

Trains to and from the Fiumicino Airport "Leonardo da Vinci"

Metropolitan service FR1: Line Fara Sabina-Fiumicino
Train from Leonardo Da Vinci Airport to Rome stations: Parco Leonardo - Fiera di Roma - Ponte Galeria - Muratella - Magliana - Villa Bonelli - Trastevere - Ostiense - Tuscolana - Tiburtina - Nomentana
Trip time: 27 minutes (Ostiense) / 42 minutes (Tiburtina). Ticket: euro 5,50

- Timetable: from Leonardo Da Vinci Airport to Roma Tiburtina Station:
First journey 5,57 am - last journey 11.27 pm.
Departures every 15 minutes, from 6.27 am to 9.27 pm, from Monday to Saturday.
Every 30 minutes on Sundays, holidays and further journeys.
- Timetable: from Roma Tiburtina Station to Leonardo Da Vinci Airport
First journey 5,03 am - last journey 10.33 pm.
Departures every 15 minutes, from 5.36 am to 8.36 pm, from Monday to Saturday.
Every 30 minutes on Sundays, holidays and further journeys.

Leonardo Express Service
Non stop trains from Leonardo Da Vinci Airport to Termini Station (platform 25)
Trip time: 30 minutes. Ticket: 11,00 euro.

departures every 30 minutes, from 6.36 am to 11.36 pm.
- Timetable: from Termini Station to Leonardo Da Vinci Airport:
departures every 30 minutes, from 5.52 am to 10.52 pm.

Bus to and from Ciampino Airport

Bus from Ciampin Airport to Anagnina red underground stop
Trip time: 25 minutes (bus). Ticket: euro 1,20 (bus) + euro 1,00 (underground)

- Timetable: from Ciampino Airport to Anagnina stop:
First journey 6.15 am - last journey 10.35 pm, from Monday to Saturday.
First journey 7.00 am - last journey 10.40 pm, on Sundays and holidays.
- Timetable: from Anagnina stop to Ciampino Airport:
First journey 6.30 am - last journey 11.00, from Monday to Saturday.
First journey 7.20 am - last journey 11.10, on Sundays and holidays.

Bus Service Schiaffini
Non stop bus from Ciampino Airport to Termini Station
Trip time: 45 minutes. Ticket: euro 4,50
