Nathalie Tocci Direttore d'area

Nathalie Tocci direttrice dell'Area l'UE e il Vicinato dell'Istituto Affari Internazionali e Associate Editor de The International Spectator. Dopo aver conseguito un PhD in International Relations alla London School of Economics (LSE), è stata ricercatrice al Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) di Bruxelles dal 1999 al 2003, Jean Monnet e Marie Curie Fellow all'Istituto Universitario Europeo di Fiesole dal 2003 al 2007, Associate Fellow al CEPS dal 2007 al 2009 e Senior Fellow alla Transatlantic Academy a Washington dal 2009 al 2010. I suoi attuali interessi scientifici riguardano la politica estera europea, la risoluzione dei conflitti e la politica europea di vicinato con particolare riguardo a Turchia, Cipro, Mediterraneo e Medio Oriente, Caucaso. Nel 2008, nell'ambito del European Foreign and Security Policy Studies Programme, le è stato assegnato il premio Anna Lindh. Attualmente sta lavorando ad un volume sulle relazioni tra Turchia, Unione europea e Stati Uniti.
