Riccardo Alcaro is IAI Research coordinator and Head of the "Global Actors" Programme of the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI). He has been the coordinator of the EU 7th Framework Programme-funded Transworld project on transatlantic relations and global governance. Riccardo has been a visiting fellow at the Center on the United States and Europe of the Brookings Institution in Washington, and a contributor to the Economist Intelligence Unit’s quarterly on the EU, the European Policy Analyst. He is a fellow of the EU-wide programme European Foreign and Security Policy Studies (EFSPS), jointly organised by the Compagnia di San Paolo, the Volkswagen Stiftung, and the Riksbankens Jubilaeumsfond.
