Lorenzo Mariani is Researcher in the field of Asian studies at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) where he collaborates mainly on research projects dealing with Chinese domestic and foreign affairs, and Inter-Korean relations. He graduated in International Relations at the University of Bologna and earned a Master’s double degree in China Studies from Zhejiang University and University of Turin. During his academic career, he was an exchange student at Peking University (Beijing) and at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Seoul).
